For anyone who watched the Old Skool Weekend CITV held last weekend, here's a little something I wrote as a special follow-up to it - the more people share, the more the word gets out! 8-)

And for watchers outside of the UK, here's why the Old Skool Weekend was such a big deal for us ;P

Didn't get to see any of it I'm afraid...but I guess there's always Youtube. =P
Anyway, glad you enjoyed it, and I agree, they should dedicate some airtime to old skool stuff.

Some of the shows are available to view on the ITV Player. In higher quality than what I've seen on YouTube.

Thank you for sharing your views with us on CITV's Old Skool Weekend. I agree with your view on The Raggy Dolls, especially after seeing the episode that was shown on Saturday with the way the moral was incorporated into the episode.

I grew up during the disembodied voice era of the 90s (until Stephen and Danielle took over) but what makes him different from the disembodied voice that we have now is that the guy back then didn't prerecord one generic message for each of the programmes. Yes, I know it's cheaper, but what CITV is doing is lazy.

If there's something I'd like to praise CITV's Old Skool Weekend for, it's this: on a normal day, only a handful of the programmes that air are/were programmes that were made by ITV's regional companies. During that Weekend, this was not the case.
